In a world filled with noise, clarity of purpose cuts through. My name is Raul Handa, and this is a glimpse into my journey from collaborating with entrepreneurs through Stanford Seed to building a global platform that empowers real impact stories.
Today, I’m proud to be known as an entrepreneur, investor, and three-time TEDx speaker, but like every startup story, it began with an idea rooted in belief, values, and bold execution.
My transformation began with Stanford Seed, a powerful initiative from the Stanford Graduate School of Business that works with emerging market entrepreneurs. It wasn’t just a program; it was a mindset shift. I learned not only to build businesses but also to build people, purpose, and vision.
This experience laid the foundation for what would later become the Forttuna Group, a multi-vertical platform committed to recognizing, celebrating, and scaling business growth stories that matter.
With presence in 25+ countries, the Forttuna Group is more than a business; it’s a movement. From startup accelerators and Founder's Trail initiatives to high-impact events like the Forttuna Global Excellence Awards, we are on a mission to amplify unheard voices and spotlight innovation.
Through our brands, shows, and awards, I’ve worked closely with thousands of creators, innovators, and change-makers all united by one thing: purpose-driven leadership.
Becoming a TEDx speaker wasn’t about the spotlight; it was about sparking conversations that matter. On stage, I speak about identity, resilience, startup journeys, and the true meaning of impact. Each time I step onto the red dot, it’s an opportunity to connect with minds that are shaping the next wave of global leadership.
One of our proudest projects at Forttuna is the Founder's Trail, a curated storytelling format that dives deep into startup stories with soul. These aren't just pitch decks or polished bios; they’re raw, real accounts of setbacks, sacrifices, and breakthroughs.
